New England Patriots fans celebrate the team’s sixth Super Bowl win


Patriots fans in Boston took to the streets to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl win Sunday night. Officials said a huge crowd of as many as 8,000 people gathered on Landsdowne Street near Fenway Park to revel in the Patriots’ 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.Thousands of college students headed to the Boston Common to celebrate. They were met with a heavy police presence. After about 45 minutes, the crowd was slowly dispersing.
The victory ties the Patriots with the Pittsburgh Steelers in terms of most Super Bowl wins ever. It’s also a record-breaking sixth Super Bowl triumph for Tom Brady. He became the oldest quarterback to win the championship at 41. Brady has been joined in the record books by 66-year-old Bill Belichick, who became the oldest coach to hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy.
